The only wedding playlists you need for planning your big day.

I am known for my broad taste in music and often share about the fact that I have around 120 playlists on Spotify. Granted, not all of them are for public listening, however I did create a few romantic playlists for those looking for songs to play at their wedding. I hope you enjoy taking a look at these songs and would love to know if you used any of my playlists as inspiration!

“The Best Wedding Songs”

This playlist has something for everyone. It could be played on shuffle during the reception, however I recommend looking through and selecting the songs you like nonetheless. There’s country, jazz, pop, and more in this playlist. It’s a beautiful mix of first dance songs, ceremony music, fun party songs for the reception and just downright sweet songs that will remind you of your big day for the years to come.

“Calm Wedding Music”

This playlist is perfect for your cocktail hour, or for the calmer, more romantic moments in the day, where the music doesn’t need to be as present. lots of jazz, slow pop and all round swoon worthy songs that will have everyone looking for a partner on the dance floor.

“Clean Wedding Reception Songs”

This one is really important to me. As a christian and as someone who really dislikes dirty songs (in general but also at weddings), I made a playlist that doesn’t have any rude language or crudeness in the lyrics. I always find it strange that as soon as the DJ arrives, after a beautiful ceremony, wedding guests start dancing to songs that are the opposite of the beautiful meaning of marriage.

This playlist is not “christian” per se, but it has lots of fun party songs that are actually good and not rude.

“Wedding Jazz”

Anyone who knows me, knows I love jazz. Especially at weddings, you cannot go wrong with some of the good ol’ stuff like Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra. After all, you want your day to feel like you’re the main character in a rom-com, right?

I hope these playlists help you in deciding what to play at your wedding. Give me a follow on Spotify so you always find the playlists again.
